Lottery Retailer Manager

"A Lottery Retailer Manager is an individual employed by a lottery retailer who sells lottery tickets to the public and who,
  1. exercises significant decision making authority with respect to the operation of lotteries by the retailer; or
  2. supervises employees or other persons employed by the retailer in operating lotteries.

If you work for a Lottery Retailer that sells Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) lottery products to the public on behalf of the OLG, you may be required to register under the Gaming Control Act, 1992.

If you are employed by a lottery retailer and act on behalf of the lottery retailer by:

  1. overseeing or coordinating lottery product sales;
  2. managing compliance issues with respect to the sale of lottery products;
  3. exercising significant decision-making authority with respect to the sale of lottery products by the lottery retailer; or
  4. signing any agreement and/or contract with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, you will be required to be registered under the Gaming Control Act, 1992 as a "lottery retailer manager".
