Gaming Manufacturer

Gaming Equipment Manufacturer  

"A gaming equipment manufacturer is a person who manufactures for sale or distribution to another person any device or thing used in the playing of a lottery scheme for which a licence is required, except bingo paper and break open tickets."

Bingo Paper or Break Open Ticket Manufacturer   

"A bingo paper or break open ticket manufacturer is a person who manufactures for sale or distribution to another person bingo paper or break open tickets used in the playing of a lottery scheme for which a licence is required."

If you manufacture gaming equipment, bingo paper or break open tickets for charitable gaming events, you must be registered under the Gaming Control Act, 1992.

Gaming equipment manufacturers and bingo paper or break open ticket manufacturers that plan to sell or distribute goods in Ontario are required to be registered under the Gaming Control Act, 1992.

If you wish to operate out of your residence, prior written approval must be obtained from the Registrar. Your request for approval must be accompanied by a detailed floor plan of your residence indicating the location of the office and the storage of equipment and supplies.

In addition to the regulatory requirements outlined in the Gaming Control Act, 1992 and regulations, manufacturers are required to comply with the Standards for Suppliers of Goods and Services – Break Open Tickets and the Standards for Suppliers of Goods and Services - Bingo.
